Part of the Rockefeller Institute of Government, the New York State Forum for Information Resource Management (NYS FORUM) is a network of public officials and State government organizations concerned with information management, policy, and technology. NYS FORUM's website promotes the Forum's agenda by displaying current and archived information on seminars and educational events, acting as a document repository for tools and publications and linking to relevant New York State human and technological resources.
The website includes a conference registration system enabling online registration and payment for seminars and events.Critical to the success of the Forum are its ten standing committees, staffed by volunteers from government and private sector organizations, these committees together with project teams and special interest groups perform the work of the Forum. In recognition of their importance, each of these committees has its own section on the website. Each section includes communication and information management tools that facilitate the work of the committees and allow members to post agendas and upcoming events as well as download reports, minutes and related documents.
