Client Objective |
The NYS Council on Children and Families' (CCF) needed a Contact Management System for personnel in their organization to use for sending out group emails, printing mailing labels, printing name tags and name cards for meeting. Their current system was in an MS Access database and was difficult to maintain and kept up-to-date. |

To accomplish the objective, a web-based application was created using a SQL Server database. This allowed CCF to maintain one set of contacts to be used by the entire organization. The web application allowed CCF personnel to easily import data from a spreadsheet into the SQl Server database. The web application takes advantage of JQuery datatables for displaying / editing contact information. The data in the contacts database can then be organized into groups by administrators. Users can then create lists which can contain group(s) and/or individual contact(s). The system can then be used to send emails out as well as print out various Avery labels right from the browser. |
